Bass model v2 is live.
This release is focused on better transcription quality and better outputs. Existing unlocked tracks can move to v2 for free, and new v2 builds now support tabs plus GP7 export.
Free upgrade for unlocked tracks
If you already unlocked a track, you can rebuild it on bass model v2 without paying again.
Better bass note detection
v2 is better at finding the played notes in the first place, which gives the rest of the build a stronger foundation.
Cleaner timing, fewer false positives
We cut down on stray notes and improved note timing so arrangements no longer sustain on nearly every note.
User-selectable tuning
You can now choose the bass tuning yourself instead of being locked into a single inferred setup.
Tabs and GP7 export
Completed v2 builds can be reviewed as tabs in the app and exported as Guitar Pro 7 files.
Longer generation times
The model is substantially more complex, so builds take longer to generate than v1.

How existing tracks move to v2
Open any eligible track from your dashboard.
Use the v2 upgrade action on the preview or full build card.
Pick a tuning if the track does not already have one saved, then start the rebuild.
Expectation setting
Why builds take longer now
v2 does more work than the earlier bass model. The output quality is better, but the compute cost is higher, so generation time goes up as part of that tradeoff.
If you are comparing a v1 preview to a v2 rebuild, expect the v2 job to stay in progress longer before downloads, tabs, and GP7 export are ready.
